The Potter

Be blessed in Jesus’ name.
May the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ, is about voice.
I must say it is an honor to share the word of the Lord with my brothers and sisters in Christ …. I know I’ll get a lot more of you than you are of me, and glory to God for that.
I did not know what to talk about in this first opportunity, but the Holy Spirit of the Lord is so wonderful … and Told Me … talk about the pot … then we will talk about “The Pot”.

Jeremiah 18: 1-5.

The vase Potter

As the day word of the Lord, in this passage, the prophet Jeremiah is expresso to the potter’s house to observe the process of the vessel and also as the same word, we know que this vessel is made of barro.Mas what kind of clay ? And the clay, formless and without resistance Reaches the state vase?

Analyzing the process of the vessel, we will find That It can be done in four parts, let’s look at each one:

Part 1 – The choice of clay and Tanning:

There are over 200 different types Approximately of clay, but only eight are suitable for making the vessel. Then the potter, goes in search of clay, clay que he knows what is best to do that pot que is already in your mind, but the potter already know what kind of vessel will make and it will use this new vaso.Ele seeks and finds the clay in the middle of many other types of clay, sometimes with dirt, sometimes mixed with pebbles, Then the potter collects clay, clean the mud and the clay separates barro.Então now will stay Separately, in tanning phase, because the potter knows even the smell of clay, he knows que the clay remains to stay in tanning to get rid of all the smell is not pleasant to potter. At que stage God was looking for you, Then he found in the middle of so many people, I found you, because he knows what his potential and que he will use you, but maybe you have a few little things que Prevent you from being pot perfect, so the potter, will collect, carefully will remove what Prevents you from being the vessel and will separate thee, this separation phase you’ll be a long time, because God just wants to see and feel in you what nice to it .you will spend a lot of time alone with God, probably no one will approach you and all you need, the Lord proverá.Quanto higher the design of God in your life, the longer you will stay in tanning.

Part 2 – Air Wand

At que stage the potter need to knead the clay to remove all air bubbles que are formed in clay, the potter kneads the clay so que there is in bolhinha because pot with bolhinha may soon crack and crack, and vessel mayor, not crack or split .
What are these bubbles of air in us? It is our pride, our selfishness, our self-confidence if you are separate vessel can not be proud, Then the Lord will allow you to be humiliated, trampled, crushed, to not have any more bolhinha, is a painful step, but even so it is Necessary and surely God will not let you alone.

3rd. Part – Modeling
At que stage the vessel will be modeled, the potter works tirelessly in the pot, all the team, Potter’s eyes are on the vessel, modeling, shaping, and again plays a little water, stop, look to see how it’s getting and continues modeling , to form the way of the vessel que was in his mind from the início.Agora God is working in you modeling you, the Lord’s eyes are on you all the team with special attention, the water que Unlike the Potter put in the pot the models, are the gifts que God wants to put you on que stage, you will start to receive from God, you have to give you, to enable you, for you to be able to do the work That It will give, Then you can get, anointing jacket, spiritual gifts, etc …
But for the moment the potter and accomplish it looks que the vessel is leaving the mold, Then the master breaks the vessel and starts all over again, will crumple a bit and model again. God stopped to watch you and saw he had something que que was not pleasing, Then you will be again kneaded and shaped, but que does not please God in this vessel? That only God and you can identify …… how is your heart? What your lips are saying? Where your feet have you been? Have a particular God and discover why you are being broken, crushed and shaped again.

Part 4
Now yes, the vessel modeled on the potter’s will, is ready for the 4th part, the phase of the furnace, the earthen vessel needs to pass through the fire to get resistance. If the vessel does not undergo this process, When It Receives water, for example, begins to leak the water beneath the vessel, and the vessel que drains water below is not meant to uso.Então the vessel goes to the furnace, and the potter keeps an eye, to see que the toilet is good to be tested, approved and used.
Now God Allows you to go through que fire proof, that most Difficult stage, perhaps When You ask yourself “But Lord why am I going through this” …. and God answers:
To perfect you.
At que stage you learn to use everything received from God while being modeled, but mostly you exercise your faith, it is the acid test, or have faith or have no faith, or vessel is, or is not, or obeys or perish .. and perish means to be broken again and return to the potter’s house, from step 2.

But Cam the furnace and you resisted, cam the test and you passed, so now the potter up and sees looks the vase exactly as he imagined, there at the beginning, when i was still looking for the clay, a clean vase, because separate fi by God, the clay pot because you learned to be humble and just Relying on God, a vase full of the Holy Spirit, because you opened your heart to receive all that God wanted to pour on you, the sturdy vessel que does not break , because He learned to use Their faith and believe que even in the toughest times, God is in control of everything.
Now the Lord for his infinite mercy, look at you and pours oil on you because you are ready to use, to be full of anointing oil, to overflowing because Honour Vase, overflows in the presence of God.
This my beloved brethren is the process vessel, and if you really want to be by used the Lord, if you want to be a vessel of honor and praise, so que God’s name be glorified, no other way, have to go through the process .

Be blessed in Jesus’ name. Mira Souza406261_360841427317886_234635821_n

Lack of knowledge, deadly.

The lack of knowledge of Gods word and who He is can be deadly. If we don’t know who He is and what His will is in our life then we are dead in the water. Not to mention easy targets for the enemy. There is no reason to not know these thiimagengs, other than our worldliness being front and center in our life.

Proverbs 10:21
The lips of the righteous feed many:
but fools die for want of wisdom.

Its ours if we only ask. It’s the foundation of our relationship with God.

Proverbs 4:7
Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding.

James 1:5
— If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

The enemy lies and explains biblical principles to us through his perverted lens And what we get is a natural view of the supernatural. And it works because we can understand natural  but not supernatural. And by the way we are supernatural, why? First in who’s image are we made? Who dwells in us? We are the body of who? Do you realize that we are to dwell, commune, with God who is supernatural  and we don’t and it’s evident that we are missing out on something we were designed to do. It’s like eating, we will find something, somewhere to fill that void. Look at the increase of movies, books etc. on ghost, vampires, zombies, witches and the like. We crave the supernatural, but the enemy tells us its not true, supernatural that is.  But let’s have fun in the natural watching lies and filth that is a abomination to God.. But just as we seek to fulfill our base need of food, God is our provision. He meets all our needs.  I’ll close with Jesus explaining about food, provision and supernatural. He’s super and all we need.

John 6:28-36
Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work? Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

Identity Crisis in the Church

I guess more than ever there seems to be a disconnect in the church. It appears that much of the body of Christ could be called non believing believers. It speaks of this here in Revelation 3:16
So then because thou art lukewaimagerm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Well HOT is self explanatory. If in fact we are cold then with a touch, BOOM on fire for God. Many testimonies relate this exact thing. But lukewarm, we are a danger of infecting the body with complacency and doubt. Not mention that we settle for a identity that is not ours. This is the crux of the matter. We don’t know who or better yet, whose we are. Nor do we believe or understand our birth rite.

1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

2 Corinthians 11:2-3
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

In Genisis it talks of our creation and that we were formed from dust. We are not DIRT we are the bride of Christ. We are made in who’s image? We are not members of some social club. I have A lot to share on this so there will be more to come on our identity crisis.

Here is a question for you

I am reading Nik Ripkens book,”The Insanity of Obedience.” This is a awesome book that deals with our obedience to God, or even the lack of it in our daily lives. At any rate he ask the question that I have thought of many, many times. Take a look.

Perhaps this is a brand new thought, but is it possible that persecution is simply the normal way of living for those who choose to follow Jesus? And then is it possible that God can bring some greater purpose out of suffering and persecution?

My answers are yes and yes. Although many of us have not experienced persecution in our lives, living in the USA but it seems it is on the rise. But think those times of trials in your life that overwhelmed you and then ask those questions again. In general, we in the flesh humans are apt to step away, if you will from God in the good times. The biggest reason is it does not require faith. Just jump on the train and ride, correct? Meanwhile back at the trial, you are calling on God like never before, now you need Him. And praise Him, He’s there when we call. Allow me to interject a couple things that God has shown me in the midst of some terrible times I just went through. 1) Ask God what you need to see and know/learn about where you are and how that relates to your relationship with Him. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him

2) Bask in His GLORY and enjoy those loving arms wrapped around you, and when you cry know He is sharing and taking these from you as He promises. 3) Never, Ever let go of those precious nail scarred hands as he leads you through and out of what you are in.

Again my answers to Nik’s questions are most assuredly YES. And a couple verses to bring this together.

John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution

There is victory in surrender

image

Romans 8:24-25
” For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.”

What are your hopes? Where are you placing your hopes? Do you have the patience to wait on God? These are some of the same things that have been on my mind. I think one of our problems with this is, priorities. Such as are we hoping for a new car or home or a million bucks, granted all those would be nice. But that’s not the priority in our life. Maybe this will shed some light on things.

2 Corinthians 4:18
” While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

Mark 11:22
” And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.”

We must let go and let God be God in our lives. I keep asking why do I fight it? Knowing good and well it will bring peace and contentment into my life and I will not be in fear of what could happen. The bible makes it very clear about hope and where it lies and in turn our responses to that hope.

Colossians 1:27
” To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:”

Pretty straightforward is it not? But you say I know that, I am doing these things BUT, I still feel the same dobuts and fears. first and foremost we must trust God as Jesus tells in the scripture we just read. But you know that so let’s look at something else.

John 10:10
” The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

The enemy tells you “are you crazy, Gods not going to….” He is killing you hope, stealing your joy, and your faith and belief in Gods promises to you. Most last but not least, destroying your relationship with the one that has already defeated this liar by what He did for on the cross. He gave all so that your life be changed. You are a overcomer. In order for Him to fix what’s broken in your life, He needs all the pieces, can you give all back? Let go and let God!

Death and the Great Comission

599526_360810057321023_820425186_nThere has been much talked and wrote about over the past several years about, END TIMES. And in no way am I wanting to put that down. No, I feel that just as God in His word teaches us much about  the LAST DAYS. Through the Holy Spirit He has revealed another END TIME that seems to lack the importance that it justly deserves. I am speaking of DEATH. I know you are thinking, well much has been said about death in the Bible and in media and books, the list goes on. But it needs to be linked with what Jesus has called us all to do. And He has made it a priority. The GREAT COMISSION, that’s the task at hand, builders of the kingdom. Now with that being said there are three things that we as Christians should do, and are even called to do. We should first, Evangelize and secondly we should as it states in Matthew 28:19 Teach and Baptize all nations. Now before I go any further lets look at some facts about END TIMES, LAST DAYS, DEATH it happens to us all. There is no escaping it or electing to do something else. No we all have a END TIME, LAST DAY, DEATH in our future. Think and pray about the importance of these statistics.

The current world Population is approximately 7 billion. Now about 20% of that 7 billion or 1,432,509,000 are Christians. The balance breaks down like this Hinduism 22%, Islam 23% no religion 27% and Buddhism 15%. Now www.ecology.com tells that in 2011 there were 131.4 million births that year, 360,000 daily, 15,000 hourly, 250 each minute. 4 births every second of each day. Now following the ratio of 20%, of the 131.4 million 20% or 26,280,000 be Christians. Now it also states that for 2011 there were 55.3 million deaths per year, 151,600 die daily, 6316 hourly, 105 each minute and 2 each second of each day. Now lets say it takes you 15 minutes reading and studying this info. There will be 1575 people die, 315 are Christians and the remaining 1260 where will they end up? These LAST DAY statistics need not be like this, If we only follow what the King has shown us. I hope this shows the crucial times we are in. With the population increasing and a lot of the church it seems has lost its focus. In such a crucial time in so many peoples lives. Now I would dare say that there would not be some of the identity problems in the church if we only follow Gods word.  There is a general lack of knowledge, or discipleship. Mark 12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?  Church, for the most part you can not believe in something you know nothing about. Here is an example, are you likely to vote into a critical position someone you know nothing about or what they stand for, there strengths and weakness? So if we don’t understand who Jesus is and the importance of the cross and His shed blood. Then we know nothing of the grace of God or His promises to His children. Its in following the word of God and being that vessel that He sends out to evangelize, teach, baptize all the world. That’s how lives are changed and in those lives changing it changes those heartbreaking statistics of people never experiencing the love of Jesus. Then and only then do you really understand what love is. The mission field starts right outside your door. What do you need to do? What is the first thing the Great Commission tells us? Matthew 28:19 -20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, evenunto the end of the world. Amen.                               GO, GO, GO, we must get up, get out, and get over ourselves and GO! There are people dying to hear about Jesus and what He has done for each of us. We became the nail that hung Him on that cross, it was our sin that He died for not His. He was with out sin. Why would we not want anyone to have there lives changed just as our has by the precious blood of Jesus. So, get up and out, GO tell everyone about our KING who lives and sits at the right hand of His Father interceding for each of us, GO! Be blessed by being a blessing for someone today.

Willing to pray

This is a request from me to you. Can I pray for you and the circumstances that you are going through in your life. I feel lead to do this because how prayer has changed my life. One, by opening up a precious line of communication with my  King, Jesus! Secondly, because all those who have prayed for me during my trials. The result of that is in the midst of the fire I was held in those precious nail scarred hands and His peace and rest flooded through me. I want you to experience that in your life. Focus all on Jesus and surrender all, including you to Him and receive all He has for you. Think of the strongest most powerful tools we have, His word and the gift of prayer. Yes gift, we can go right before the throne and share our hearts with the one who gave all for you and me. And the great part is not that it’s a one sided conversation, He listens and cares and loves us and responds to us in return. What a wonderful gift that is.

So just as others prayed for me, I would like to do the same for you. You can email your request to mtaylor@714ministries.org.

Believe on me!

406261_360841427317886_234635821_n  I want to share with you about why I have not been doing blogs etc. My dad has been battling lung cancer and has been a trying time for the whole family. My dad passed and on August 24th we held a memorial service for him. I spoke at my dads service and we also had a detachment of honor guards from Ft. Bragg NC there doing a flag ceremony and taps. My dad was a medic during the Korean war. It was a precious time and a wonderful celebration of my dads life. Two hours after getting home I found myself in a ambulance on the way to the hospital. The next morning I had emergency surgery for a incarcerated hernia, meaning my intestines had broken through my abdominal wall. I have had to go back into the hospital for swelling and bleeding from incision and may have another surgery for repair of a bleed that won’t stop. Now with that being said, as trying as all this has been I am enjoying my time with the Lord. There much that He is showing me about my life. Mainly that my faith was falling short, it was not carrying me as far as it should. In other words there were areas of doubt and disbelief that was not allowing God to be God in my life. This troubled me because I felt my faith was strong and I have written many blogs concerning faith and belief. But I asked God to help and to show me more and to help me.

Well, in the midst of this I found that I was being shown several aspects of my life that fell short of the mark. What I mean to say is that in some aspects of my life may faith soared. In others it fizzled out and my faith was carrying me as far as I need to go. See, God took me to where I should be and all those fears of finances, health, family, job, world affairs, everything fell away. And I found myself resting in the Lord.

Matthew11:28

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Matthew6:33

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

See, I was not putting God first in all aspects of my life. He should be our first line of action not our last. Don’t feel like I am picking on you, I was doing the same. and if my shortcomings will help you then to God be the glory. Now look at this scripture it spoke volumes to me and I think it will do the same for you.

Luke10:40-42

But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

Just like Martha we are so caught up in the here and now we lose track of whats really important. In my case I was struggling with things that I could not fix. And it makes you feel as if you are inadequate and haven fallen short. I was only falling short by not letting go and letting God truly rule and reign in my life. I have all the confidence in the world that God can change your life but you must truly rest in Him. look at this scripture from your life right now. See if you don’t view it different than the way it always used.

Romans 12:1-3 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith

See, we must sacrifice ourselves constantly, or pick up our cross and deny ourselves along with those voices of the enemy that says we can not change. And then we are transformed by the renewing of the mind, or we learn the truth and the truth sets us free from all of our addictions, compulsions and life of sin and our separation from God. Why, because we know first hand that He is who He says He is and will do what He says He will do. When we enter into that rest. If you look in Genesis on the 7Th day God enters into rest. He is still there, the holiest of holy. In vs 2 in Romans 12 it calls for us to be Holy. Remember Moses at the burning bush, remove your sandals you are on holy ground? We enter that holy rest by the blood of Jesus that washes us clean of our imperfections, and we repent, then and only then can we enter that rest. We have a tendency to pile up garbage in our lives that we are going to fix but have no power to fix in a million years. All it does is keep us from entering into that rest, we are dirty with the garbage of our unbelief. We have to Invite God in and give him carte Blanche to do what only He can do in our lives, clean up the mess we made with the blood of Jesus so we enter into His rest. Ask Him to cleanse your mess and do what only He can do. Be that living sacrifice, be renewed. blessings bro, Mike

Control, lie or scared, which is it?

I felt I should talk a little more about our denying God. Or maybe its just us wanting to stay in a safe place in our life and in our relationship with Jesus. As in any relationship in order for it to grow we are stretched or we have to extend ourself in order to keep up with the movement of the relationship. And sometimes we are tried by that relationship. I have had relationships to cost me much. Not in the monetary sense but emotional or mentally trying sometimes. Then we hold back or dig our heels in and try to slow or alter the flow of the relationship.  Why, I think it scares us. We don’t want to go where that relationship is going or maybe not that fast. And here’s a biggie, you wanted to be in control. Is that not really foolish on our part thinking we can control the other half of the relationship when we are so out of control ourselves. Maybe since we can’t control ourself in our desperation we try to control something, anything. Well that is one satan’s ploys making think that we can and should be in control of every aspect of our life. We can’t are to give ourselves over to Jesus and led Him have control. I think I will close with my favorite Oswald Chambers devotion.

What’s Next To Do?

If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them —John 13:17

Be determined to know more than others. If you yourself do not cut the lines that tie you to the dock, God will have to use a storm to sever them and to send you out to sea. Put everything in your life afloat upon God, going out to sea on the great swelling tide of His purpose, and your eyes will be opened. If you believe in Jesus, you are not to spend all your time in the calm waters just inside the harbor, full of joy, but always tied to the dock. You have to get out past the harbor into the great depths of God, and begin to know things for yourself— begin to have spiritual discernment. When you know that you should do something and you do it, immediately you know more. Examine where you have become sluggish, where you began losing interest spiritually, and you will find that it goes back to a point where you did not do something you knew you should do. You did not do it because there seemed to be no immediate call to do it. But now you have no insight or discernment, and at a time of crisis you are spiritually distracted instead of spiritually self-controlled. It is a dangerous thing to refuse to continue learning and knowing more.

The counterfeit of obedience is a state of mind in which you create your own opportunities to sacrifice yourself, and your zeal and enthusiasm are mistaken for discernment. It is easier to sacrifice yourself than to fulfill your spiritual destiny, which is stated in Romans 12:1-2. It is much better to fulfill the purpose of God in your life by discerning His will than it is to perform great acts of self-sacrifice. “Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice . . .” (1 Samuel 15:22). Beware of paying attention or going back to what you once were, when God wants you to be something that you have never been. “If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know . . .” (John 7:17).
